On a summers evening I painted this view of a field that had been sown with wild flowers. It was a dull cloudy day so the colours were muted but it was still a beautiful, tranquil spot to paint. There was a warm glow from the brooding sky.

It is presented in a white wooden hand made frame using ‘St Ives’ moulding that really sets off the picture very nicely.
