I spend a lot of time walking and cycling in the Lakes and this view of the Derwent valley from Barf is a favourite of mine. Looking down the valley the town of Keswick sits at the head of Derwent Water with the Borrowdale Fells in the distance. This was painted from an original series of sketches I did perched on the side of the mountain!
