Painted in Feb 2023 as part of my Bassenthwaite series this is a study accross the lake down Borrowdale valley as sunlight illuminates sections of the mountains. A very atmospheric moment that come and go very quickly in changeable Lakeland weather. One of my favorite Lakes views.
